Job summary

Shift4 is seeking an On-site POS Support Associate at the Allentown, PA office to handle day-to-day support for Restaurant Manager’s core POS product suite. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, log requests, and assist internal users with IT tasks including configuring devices.

The ideal candidate has strong Windows OS knowledge, POS experience, excellent communication, and a customer-first approach. Willingness to travel to client sites and cover 24/7 shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Windows OS knowledge and desktop software (including MS Office).
• Experience with restaurant POS applications is required.
• Familiarity with desktop and laptop hardware components.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer focus and dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites occasionally and cover 24/7 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to merchants on Restaurant Manager’s core Point of Sale product suite.
• Diagnose and resolve computer problems and requests from users in a timely manner.
• Accurately record requests into the help desk system.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, network equipment, iOS and Android devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems and desktop applications.
