Job summary

Level 10, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Field Technician to install, support, troubleshoot, and maintain technology infrastructure and POS systems at customer locations nationwide. The position requires extensive travel up to 100% and the ability to work independently on large deployments and low-voltage installations.

Responsibilities include configuring and supporting POS systems, cabling, telecom closets, fiber/copper cabling, site surveys, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field service, low voltage installations, POS systems, networking, or technology deployment.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, cabling standards, and endpoint devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support point-of-sale systems, networking equipment, peripherals, and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cabling, data jacks, patch panels, surface mount boxes, faceplates, and associated hardware.
• Build and organize telecommunications closets, including racks, patch panels, cable management systems, grounding systems, and cross-connects.
• Install and support fiber optic and copper cabling solutions.
• Perform equipment replacements, upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements before project implementation.
• Participate in customer technology rollouts.
• Serve as a technical resource for field escalations and provide support to technicians and project teams.
