North Country is seeking a Field Support Technician to serve Bemidji, MN and Fargo, ND. You will learn POS systems, troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, and travel to client sites—company vehicle provided. This role offers 100% employee ownership and ESOP participation after 6 months.

Ideal candidates are hands-on with computer tech, comfortable working on-site at client locations, and capable of delivering reliable technical support in fast-paced retail environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer and tech experience; troubleshoot IT hardware and software.
• Familiarity with IT, networking, Wi‑Fi, computer hardware, and basic troubleshooting.
• Able to work independently on-site at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Learn POS systems through our training program.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues remotely and on-site.
• Install and deploy retail systems.
• Travel to client sites with company vehicle provided.
• Be the expert who restores systems after outages.
• Lead installation projects from delivery through documentation.
