Job summary

North Country Business Products is seeking a Field Support Technician to service POS systems for grocery, convenience, and hospitality clients in Bemidji, MN and Fargo, ND. The role involves hands-on hardware/software support, on-site travel, and installing and deploying retail systems.

Company vehicle provided; after 6 months, eligibility for ESOP. Regular full-time position with growth prospects in a 1948-established industry leader.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with IT, networking, Wi‑Fi, hardware and basic troubleshooting is a plus.
• Networking fundamentals such as Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, IP addresses, routers, switches.

Responsibilities

• Learn POS systems through our training program.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues remotely and on-site.
• Install and deploy retail systems.
• Travel to client sites (company vehicle provided).
• Be the expert who gets businesses back up and running when systems go down.
