Job summary

North Country Business Products is seeking a Field Support Technician to service POS systems for grocery, convenience, and hospitality clients in Bemidji, MN and Fargo, ND. The role involves hands-on hardware/software support, on-site travel, and installing and deploying retail systems.

Company vehicle provided; after 6 months, eligibility for ESOP. Regular full-time position with growth prospects in a 1948-established industry leader.

Qualifications

• Hands-on computer experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with IT, networking, Wi‑Fi, hardware and basic troubleshooting is a plus.
• Networking fundamentals such as Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, IP addresses, routers, switches.

Technical Excellence:

• Learn POS systems through our comprehensive training program

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with hands‑on computer and technology experience who enjoys troubleshooting and working with hardware and software. Experience or familiarity with IT, networking, Wi‑Fi, computer hardware, and basic technical troubleshooting is a plus.

Must Have:

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver who can troubleshoot issues independently.
• Networking fundamentals — understanding of basic networking concepts such as Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, IP addresses, routers, switches, and connectivity issues.
• Comfortable providing hands‑on technical support at client locations
