Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to support customer sites across the assigned territory from Tampa. The role emphasizes timely response, diagnostics, repair, and testing of POS hardware and related equipment.

You will maintain inventory, precise documentation, and professional interactions with store personnel. Ideal candidates have an Associates Degree in IT or related field, 1+ year in tech service, Windows/MS Office familiarity, and the ability to travel within a 150-mile

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related Technology Field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Windows and Microsoft Office familiarity required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team professionally.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius; limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS and other hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and records.
