Job summary

Truno Retail Technology Solution, Inc. is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to ensure timely responses to service requests at customer sites in the assigned territory.

You will support POS hardware and related devices, perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and thorough testing to keep equipment running. The role requires maintaining accurate spare parts inventory, documenting activities precisely, and occasionally traveling within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year tech service experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical electronics/tech hardware experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests timely and document details accurately.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team in a positive manner.
• Maintain ability to work regular hours and after-hours when needed.
• Travel typically within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight travel.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test to verify proper functionality of in-store equipment.
• Use tools including basic power tools in performance of duties.
• Provide preventative maintenance to in-store POS equipment and other hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain company vehicle, credit card, fuel, and tools.
