Job summary

TRUNO is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to support customer sites in the assigned territory. The role focuses on responsive service, hardware troubleshooting, repair, and testing of POS systems and related devices.

You will maintain inventory, document work thoroughly, and travel as needed within a 150‑mile radius with occasional overnight stays. Requirements include an associates degree in IT or related field (preferred), 1+ year tech service experience (preferred), and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and MS Office required.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document details.
• Travel within territory, typically within 150 miles, with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test POS hardware and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on POS devices and other hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades.
