Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests across assigned sites, troubleshoot and repair POS and related hardware, and document activities with accuracy. The role requires after-hours availability and travel within a 150-mile radius, with occasional overnight stays.

You will maintain inventory, perform basic software/hardware configurations, and uphold professional standards while working independently or with teams.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred in IT or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Interact with store personnel and TRUNO team professionally.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius and occasional overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store equipment to verify functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on POS hardware and related equipment.
• Configure software/hardware, installs, and upgrades as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
