Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the PORTS program, which designs and develops simulation-based training systems for the US Surface Navy.

You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customer, and project team; manage budgets and schedules; and ensure DoD requirements are met while traveling up to 10%. Serco offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Experience with software development projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
