Job summary

Serco has an exciting Project Management opportunity with a dynamic team in Middletown, Rhode Island. Bring your expertise to support the Navy PORTS program, designing and delivering simulation-based training systems.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage budgets, schedules, and DoD data items, and present status to leadership and customers. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, a bachelor's degree, and at least five years of management experience.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Experience with software development projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
