Job summary

Fairstead, a purpose-driven real estate firm, seeks a Portfolio Support Manager to provide high-level administrative, operational, and analytical support across a multi-state affordable housing portfolio.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in property management, with experience in LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 preferred, and strong Excel skills to prepare performance reports and support budget processes. This role offers growth within Fairstead and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management.
• Familiarity with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs is encouraged.
• Proficiency in property management systems (Yardi, RealPage).
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administrative support to Senior Regional Managers and regional teams.
• Support documentation and coordination for capital projects and large-scale renovations.
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and budget variance reporting.
• Collaborate with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure accurate financials and timely AP/AR support.
• Collect, review, and analyze historical income and expense data for properties.
• Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly property performance reports.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
