Job summary

DOSS is seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead the Forward Deployed Services team, owning a portfolio of high-value client relationships and guiding a team of FDPMs through discovery, design, build, UAT, and go-live. This role blends leadership with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to design data models, workflows, and integrations, while driving improvements and AI-enabled enhancements for enterprise-scale clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering, consulting, finance, operations, product operations, or technical program management, including time as a people manager with direct reports.
• ERP implementation leadership experience and ability to scope, configure, migrate data, and go-live.
• Systems thinker who can navigate cross-functional dependencies and teach others.
• Strong communicator with a hands-on, player-coach leadership style.
• Experience in high‑pressure startup, consulting, or finance environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of FDPMs across a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients — accountable for team output, client outcomes, and individual development.
• Remain hands-on across the end-to-end post-sales lifecycle: discovery, design, implementation, and go-live; this is a player-coach role.
• Own the success of Doss's most complex client relationships; portfolio reflects team execution.
• Conduct cross-functional deep dives across customer organizations to map end-to-end business processes and workflows.
• Drive and contribute to new product capabilities that support Doss's push to upper mid-market and enterprise.
• Set the standard for best-in-class practices and processes across the team; build or improve what doesn't exist.
• Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform.
• Partner with technical teams on integrations and data migrations.
• Lead the portfolio through UAT, training, and go-live support; build relationships that drive retention and expansion.
• Coach FDPM on client management and delivery quality; create feedback loops to accelerate growth.
• Drive automation and AI-forward improvements to Doss's product and customer lifecycle processes.
