Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Association Manager in Florida to lead on-site operations, coordinate with departments and the Board, and ensure project delivery within budget. You will drive service quality and compliance with contractual obligations while guiding a team and liaising with residents.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic oversight, and effective communication across departments, with responsibilities spanning inspections, budgets, and staff management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property Operations, Hospitality, or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Must be Certified and Licensed by the State of Florida for Community Association Management (CAM).
• Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.
• Knowledge of Florida Statutes and Community documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to assigned property and book of business.
• Manage the functions of a team within a property while maintaining standards of excellence for processes, methods, and personnel.
• Act as liaison to ensure quality service is delivered, Board expectations are met and to assist in prompt response and resolution to questions/problems.
• Maintain knowledge of the contract between the association and FirstService Residential and ensure obligations are met.
• Initiate contact with new residents.
• Conduct site inspections and provide improvements and action plans.
• Oversee all construction projects and ensure timely, budget-aligned completion.
• Create, maintain, and upload information in our portal (work orders, minutes, reports).
• Interview, select, hire, train and schedule staff; ensure proper coverage.
