Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking a Pool Bartender to provide beverage and food service at the resort pool area, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. Create a welcoming atmosphere, guide guests in beverage preferences, and uphold high service standards.

The role requires a minimum of one year bartending experience, state minimum age for alcohol service, and valid Food Handlers and TIPS certifications. The position supports a dynamic team and occasional event duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification required.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts and percentages.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality with knowledge of the resort facility and dining area.
• Greet and serve guests with energy and enthusiasm; recommend beverages.
• Check IDs to ensure legal alcohol service.
• Balance cash transactions and manage payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and restock supplies.
• Oversee F&B events and banquet setups as needed.
