Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ is seeking a friendly bartender to prepare and serve beverages and food to guests at the bar, restaurant, or patio, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager.

You will greet guests, suggest drinks, check IDs, handle cash and POS, maintain a clean bar, manage inventory, and assist with banquets and events. Requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, HS diploma, and TIPS certification; evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to handle cash and prepare to-go orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests at the bar, restaurant, or patio with enthusiasm.
• Ensure consistent, high standards of service and quality.
• Handle cash and operations, balance the cash register.
• Take food and beverage orders and coordinate with wait staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and assist with inventory.
• Support in banquets and events as needed.
