Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf in Huntersville near Charlotte is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages and food at the bar, restaurant, or patio, following company standards. This role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires a welcoming, guest-focused approach.

You will greet guests, craft drinks, handle cash, manage inventory, and support banquets and events. A high school diploma is preferred, with 1 year of bartending experience in a resort favored; TIPS and Food Handlers

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet the state minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort and dining areas.
• Greet and serve guests in an energetic, friendly fashion and take drink orders.
• Mix drinks and serve wine/beer; handle to-go orders and bar snacks.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and balance the cash register.
• Take inventory and order liquors and supplies while maintaining quality and budget.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in all Food & Beverage functions.
