Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Pool Bartender to deliver beverage and food service to Members and guests at the pool, bar, restaurant, or patio, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. The role requires providing welcoming hospitality with knowledge of the resort facilities and strong guest interaction skills.

This full-time position in Chandler/Sun Lakes, Arizona offers competitive pay with tips, a benefit-eligible schedule, and opportunities to participate in resort events and banquets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to do basic math and calculate discounts/percentages.
• Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming hospitality by knowing the resort and dining areas; answer guest questions with enthusiasm.
• Maintain consistent high standards of service and quality to meet guest expectations.
• Greet guests, take drink/food orders, and make beverage recommendations.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Identify safety issues or guest concerns and report to supervisor.
• Assist in coordinating Food & Beverage events and functions.
