Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf in Queen Creek, AZ seeks a Pool Bartender to provide friendly F&B service at the pool area, bar, restaurant or patio. The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires hospitality excellence.

The role involves mixing drinks, serving wine/beer, taking orders, and ensuring a welcoming guest experience while upholding safety and service standards. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year bartending experience, preferably in a resort.
• Must meet state and federal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Basic math to calculate discounts and percentages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality with knowledge of the resort and dining area.
• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, energetic manner; recommend drinks.
• Mix drinks and serve wine and beer; take beverage and food orders; prepare to-go orders.
• Check IDs to verify legal age for alcohol.
• Balance cash and transactions; ensure accurate charges and correct change.
• Support banquets and other Food & Beverage events as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe bar area and assist with inventory and ordering.
