Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Rio Verde, AZ is seeking a professional Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests across bar, restaurant, and patio areas. The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires excellent hospitality, guest service, and teamwork in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma (preferred), 1 year of resort bartending experience, state minimum age, and current Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year bartending experience in a resort preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic; calculate discounts and percentages.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality.
• Greet and serve guests, suggest beverages, and respond to questions.
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age.
• Balance cash transactions and manage the cash register.
• Take inventory and order liquors and supplies within budget.
• Prepare beverages and serve at bar, restaurant, or patio.
• Assist in all Food & Beverage functions, including banquets and events.
