Dow Inc. seeks an experienced polyurethane formulator for rigid foams, based in Marietta, GA. Lead technical interactions with customers and collaborate across R&D, commercial, and manufacturing to deliver solutions and guidance on Dow products, handling, and scale-up.

The role emphasizes independent work with team collaboration, development of business cases, and contributing to growth and sustainability goals in polyurethane applications. Travel ~30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science or related field (or equivalent military rank).
• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience leading projects in rigid foam polyurethane products.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems with defined scope.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and executes experiments, interprets results.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up at customer locations.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing.
• Generates ideas and data to support intellectual capital and protect Dow's IP.
• Engages in external professional organizations to stay updated and represent the Dow Polyurethanes brand.
• Communicates and documents work in internal reports and presentations.
