The role emphasizes developing new products, providing field support, and scaling laboratory work to production assets, with ~30% travel and a focus on sustainable, customer-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field (or military equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience leading projects in rigid polyurethane foams.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for the customer with defined scope and impact.
• Develops hypotheses, plans and conducts experiments; interprets results and iterates.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer sites.
• Collaborates across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Generates data to support intellectual capital and protects Dow’s IP.
• Engages with external professional organizations to stay abreast of technology trends.
• Documents work in internal reports and presentations.
