Job summary

Local Pensions Partnership seeks a Development Centre Delivery Lead to own the end-to-end Police & Fire pensions learning curriculum, from induction to ongoing development, using performance insights to shape targeted training.

In a hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with leaders, SMEs and the MS Development Team to design scalable, blended learning that raises capability and improves service outcomes, with Preston as a frequent travel hub.

Qualifications

• Strong Police & Fire pensions knowledge.
• Experience designing blended or digital learning.
• Ability to translate performance data into training priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Police & Fire curriculum, including design, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Define and maintain structured learning pathways and curriculum frameworks.
• Design scalable, reusable and blended learning solutions.
• Use KPIs, QA and productivity data to identify capability gaps and shape training priorities.
• Measure and report on training ROI, business impact and improvements against targets.
• Translate operational performance gaps into targeted learning interventions.
• Act as a Police & Fire subject matter expert and training authority.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence training priorities.
• Set training design standards and coach SMEs and trainers to build capability.
