Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the PMO in quoting, executing, and closing out Load Bank projects. You will contribute technical input to sales and operations, document discussions, manage project data in the ERP, and assist with field site walks and admin tasks.

This role requires five years of power distribution experience, formal electrical training, and strong English communication. Travel up to 5% and a willingness to learn fleet capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in the power distribution/generation field, specifically with Load banks and power equipment.
• Formal Electrical Training.
• PM Certification preferred.
• Technical aptitude with willingness and ability to learn the business applications and fleet capabilities.
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight ~5%, with background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all SBR policies and procedures.
• Attend project/PMO related discussions/meetings to document discussions and actions.
• Review RFQs for completeness and urgency; ask questions to gather missing details.
• Provide assistance to sales and operations for level 1 and 2 service requests as appropriate.
• Review PM-generated designs, schedules, drawings for errors and detail.
• Assist PMs with logistics RFQs, planning, and execution as needed.
• Perform project data entry and management in the ERP system (quotes, reservations, contracts, etc.).
• Manage updates of PMO project trackers with PM/OSR inputs.
• Submit and refresh profitability analysis requests as required by policy.
