Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support quoting, execution, and closeout of Load Bank projects. You will provide technical expertise to sales and operations, document discussions, and coordinate resources to ensure successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you may perform field site walks, maintain project documents, and assist in budgeting and reporting. Strong electrical background and PM exposure are valued in a growing national company.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in the power distribution/generation field with Load banks, power distribution and power generation equipment.
• Formal Electrical Training is required.
• PM Certification is preferred.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn business applications.
• Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all SBR policies and procedures.
• Attend project and PMO meetings to document discussions and action items.
• Review RFQs for completeness and urgency; ask questions as needed.
• Assist sales/operations with level 1 and 2 service requests.
• Review project designs, schedules, and drawings for errors and details.
• Assist PMs with logistics RFQs, planning and execution.
• Enter and manage project data in the ERP system (quotes, orders, POs, etc.).
• Update PMO trackers with project information and progress.
