Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support PMO activities in quoting, execution, and closeout of Load Bank projects. You will provide technical expertise, assist in field site walks, and support sales and operations with information management and resource coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will help document discussions, review RFQs, manage ERP data, and generate essential project forms.

Qualifications

• Five years+ experience in power distribution/generation with load banks and related equipment.
• Formal electrical training or technical schooling.
• PM Certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all PMO and Sunbelt policies and procedures.
• Attend project/PMO meetings; document discussions and action items.
• Review RFQs for completeness and urgency; ask clarifying questions.
• Assist sales/operations with level 1 and 2 service requests.
• Review project designs and schedules; identify errors or gaps.
• Coordinate logistics RFQs, planning, and execution as needed.
• Enter and manage project data in the ERP system.
• Maintain PMO tracker with up-to-date project information.
• Provide profitability analysis and comments on proposals.
• Generate OPS and PUN; manage budget-related documents.
• Coordinate leadership approvals as required.
• Review HALT reports for vendor invoicing impact.
• Create purchase orders; support budget trends and changes.
• Schedule freight and manage 3rd party drivers.
