Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support PMO in quoting, execution, and closeout of Load Bank projects. You will provide technical expertise to sales and operations, document key discussions, review RFQs, and coordinate logistics—while assisting with budgets and field visits.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in power distribution and formal electrical training, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Five years+ experience in power distribution/generation with load banks.
• Formal electrical training and strong technical aptitude.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP system preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight ~5% is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMOs in quoting, execution, and closeout of Load Bank projects.
• Provide technical expertise to sales and operations teams.
• Document discussions, action items, and project requirements in PMO systems.
• Review RFQs for completeness and urgent needs with the sales team.
• Coordinate logistics RFQs, planning, and field support as needed.
• Manage project data entry in ERP (quotes, orders, POs, etc.).
• Support budgets, change orders, and profitability tracking.
• Conduct site walks and periodic visits as approved.
