Job summary

Hood College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track or Professor of Practice as Program Director for the new PMHNP track within the DNP program. The director will lead curriculum design, student recruitment, and accreditation compliance while teaching in the PMHNP area.

Qualifications

• PMHNP certification required and RN license in Maryland.
• Terminal degree (PhD or DNP) required; PhD in related field acceptable with MS in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop the PMHNP program curriculum and track within the DNP program.
• Teach in area of expertise and supervise PMHNP track activities.
• Recruit students and ensure accreditation compliance for the PMHNP program.
• Lead collaboration with the Graduate School and Dean offices; 20% research with federal partners.
