Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Phoenix/Sacramento region seeks a Project Management & Commercial Lead to strengthen project controls and governance across the PM team.

You will coach PMs, monitor performance, and ensure consistent application of PM practices and risk management. Reporting to Senior PMCL, this role drives PIR oversight, proposal reviews, and budget/schedule control while aligning with HSSE standards and corporate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead pursuit through closeout.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HSSE practices and safety in project delivery.
• Lead and mentor project management staff and PMLs to ensure qualified project managers.
• Serve as PIR for projects and monitor budget, schedule, risk and quality.
• Manage project setup activities, including Oracle and IPS, and intercompany agreements.
• Pursue billable work and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk with clients.
