Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to generate new business, assess on-site needs, and deliver detailed, competitive estimates for residential and light commercial projects. You will build trust with homeowners, property managers, and contractors while presenting options and closing deals.

Travel locally, access crawl spaces, and coordinate with the service team to confirm scope, pricing, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience in field, service, or sales.
• Proven sales, estimating or customer-facing success.
• Ability to scope and price jobs and read plans.
• Strong networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comfort with CRM systems and estimating tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug checks.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and contractors.
• Represent the company at trade events and home shows as a trusted plumbing advisor.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Follow up on proposals to maximize close rates and value.
• Perform on-site evaluations of residential and light commercial projects.
• Prepare accurate estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Present options clearly and help customers choose solutions.
• Coordinate scope and schedule with the service manager after the sale.
• Document all customer interactions and sales activity in CRM.
