Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to drive new business and deliver precise estimates on residential and light commercial projects. You will evaluate sites, present good/better/best options, and close opportunities with homeowners, managers, and contractors.

The role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, requiring strong communication and field presence to protect margins and earn trust.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales).
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs; read plans as needed.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and office apps.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; pass background check and drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, and contractors.
• Present options and close sales by turning opportunities into signed work.
• Perform on-site evaluations and prepare detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with service manager to confirm scope and scheduling.
• Maintain CRM records of estimates and sales activity.
