Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to generate new business, build lasting relationships, and convert opportunities into signed work through accurate estimates.

The role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling—from on-site evaluations to detailed proposals, presenting options, and closing the sale. You will work with homeowners, property managers, and contractors while traveling locally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales).
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles — in-home or trade sales preferred.
• Ability to accurately scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work in plain language.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills; a natural networker who follows through.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, general contractors, and commercial accounts.
• Represent the company at trade events, home shows, and community functions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
• Follow up on open proposals and past customers to maximize close rates.
