Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to be the face of our plumbing business in the field, generating new business, building customer relationships, and turning opportunities into signed work through accurate estimates.

This role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling: evaluating jobs on-site, presenting options, and closing the sale with homeowners, property managers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales)required.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles—home/in-home experience preferred.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans, and explain technical work clearly.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills; good networker.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and standard office apps.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, GCs, and commercial accounts.
• Present options (good/better/best) and help customers choose solutions within budget.
• Coordinate with service manager and field techs post-sale to confirm scope and execution.
• Track win/loss and adjust pricing/approach based on feedback.
