Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator who will be the face of our plumbing business in the field, generating new business, building lasting customer relationships, and turning opportunities into signed work through accurate, competitive estimates.

This role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling: evaluating jobs on-site, preparing detailed estimates and proposals, presenting options to customers, and closing the sale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing industry experience in field, service, or sales.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles
• Ability to accurately scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work clearly
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, and follow-up on leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, GC's, and commercial accounts.
• Represent the company at trade events and home shows as a plumbing advisor.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Follow up on open proposals and past customers to maximize close rates.
