Job summary

Happy Home seeks a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to generate new business, build lasting customer relationships, and convert opportunities into signed work with accurate, competitive estimates. Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales).
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles — in-home or trade sales preferred.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work clearly.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and standard office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background check & drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business via referrals, networking, and company leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and commercial accounts.
• Present options and close sales through detailed on-site estimates and proposals.
• Maintain sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
• Coordinate scope, schedule, and execution with service manager and field techs after sale.
• Track win/loss results and adjust pricing/approach based on market feedback.
