Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator who will be the face of our plumbing business in the field, generating new business and building lasting relationships with homeowners and commercial clients. You will assess jobs on-site, build detailed estimates, and present options to customers to close sales.

The ideal candidate blends plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, walking homeowners or property managers through good/better/best solutions while maintaining healthy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales); working knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices required.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles — in-home or trade sales experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to accurately scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work in plain language.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills; a natural networker who follows through.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking and follow-up on company-provided leads; build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and contractors.
• Estimating & Job Scoping: Perform on-site evaluations and prepare accurate estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and permits; present options and coordinate after-sale details.
• Customer Experience: Serve as primary contact from first visit to job completion; resolve questions promptly and protect the company's reputation.
