Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to be the face of our plumbing business in the field, responsible for generating new business, building lasting customer relationships, and turning opportunities into signed work through accurate, competitive estimates.

This role blends technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling, evaluating jobs on-site, preparing detailed estimates and proposals, presenting options, and closing the sale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience (field, service, or sales) and knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles, including in-home or trade sales.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed, and explain technical work in plain language.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills; a natural networker who follows through.
• Comfortable using CRM software, estimating tools, tablets, and standard office applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking, and company-provided leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and commercial accounts to drive repeat and referral business.
• Represent the company at trade events, home shows, and community functions as a trusted plumbing advisor.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Follow up on open proposals and past customers to maximize close rates and lifetime value.
• Perform on-site evaluations of residential and light commercial plumbing projects and prepare detailed estimates.
• Present good/better/best options and coordinate with service managers to confirm scope and execution details after the sale.
