Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in any New England office.

This role involves taking mechanical concepts to implementation and coordinating with multiple disciplines on private, public, federal, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an active PE license or ability to obtain one, and a strong track record in plumbing, fire

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain a PE in any US state is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing fire protection, mechanical design and/or energy related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across facility types.
• Design includes field investigation, shop drawing review, reports and contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, utilities, vendors and clients.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
