Electrical Automation Services seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to support high-speed beverage lines in its Glendale, AZ facility. You will act as the on-shift controls expert, programming and troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and related drives on running production equipment.
Responsibilities include diagnosing complex control issues, implementing permanent improvements, mentoring maintenance staff, and coordinating with operations, quality, and maintenance to improve safety, quality
Formación
- Associate degree required in engineering technology, industrial automation, or a related field.
- 4+ years of industrial automation or controls experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration skills.
Responsabilidades
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert for high-speed beverage equipment.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues.
- Diagnose problems and implement permanent corrective actions in PLC/HMI programs.
- Lead control projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Mentor and train maintenance technicians and operators; maintain drawings and back-ups.
