Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Plaza Director to oversee a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a team to deliver fast, friendly service and drive profitability while upholding brand standards.

You will recruit and develop staff, monitor performance, ensure food and beverage concepts meet standards, and collaborate with partners across HR, Loss Prevention, Finance and Facilities. A dynamic, fast-paced environment offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership
• Strong cost control and quality standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve or exceed targeted objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
• Monitor and analyze progress towards targeted financial and performance objectives then implement strategic changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure that each food and beverage concept within the plaza adheres to required brand standards.
• Maintain an engaging work culture of continuous learning, information/skill sharing and professional development.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza and supervise leadership.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotion, and disciplinary actions for plaza leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance and Facilities & Maintenance.
