Applegreen USA is seeking a Plaza Director to oversee daily operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure fast, friendly service, uphold brand standards, and drive sales and cost control while maintaining high food quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll/timekeeping software.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong cost control and quality standards.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve or exceed objectives.
• Monitor and analyze progress towards financial targets and implement changes to maximize performance.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts meet brand standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
• Recruit, develop and retain strong plaza teams across locations.
• Hire, coach, train, promote or discipline plaza leadership.
• Supervise and manage the plaza leadership team to meet goals and manage reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and the community.
