Job summary

Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or its equivalent.
• Experience administering, monitoring and resolving issues in a high availability platform environment.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and understanding of SQL and scripting languages.
• Experience in network technologies and internet protocols such as TCP/IP, WAN and DNS.
• Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritise, and solve problems in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication and written skills to articulate technical information to internal teams and customers.
• Must undergo or possess a USG Tier 3 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in area of specialty.
• Identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements in favor of change safety.
• Improving tools, alerts, documentation, and procedures to support change safety.
• Maintaining positive relationships across teams.
• Collaborating with the global Change Safety Optimization team to maintain consistent workflows across the group.
• Working 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM EST, Monday to Friday in the Cambridge, MA office for the first six months with potential 50% office / 50% remote afterwards.
