Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Business Operations Manager (Customer Integrity & Threat Detection) to detect, disrupt, and investigate potential misuse of the Starlink platform. The role focuses on safeguarding customer privacy while enforcing rules and coordinating with diverse teams across the company.

The position requires 6+ years in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations and experience with data querying, scripting, and geospatial tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; or 8+ years without a degree.
• 6+ years with SQL, Python, geospatial tools, and/or statistical software.
• 6+ years investigating illicit operators (fraud, abuse, cybersecurity).
• 3+ years driving process or technology improvements to enhance customer integrity.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks.
• Design and deploy solutions to address priority risks with stakeholders.
• Represent the team in cross-functional groups and expert areas.
• Establish expertise in investigative techniques and abuse prevention strategies.
• Investigate issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit activities.
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations.
• Balance customer privacy with enforcement actions and minimize overreach.
