Job summary

QofAI is hiring a senior infrastructure engineer to own the platform that powers the team. You will lead cloud infra, deployment paths, observability, and security, enabling engineers to ship faster and more reliably.

You’ll build internal tooling and platforms that reduce friction, while owning cross-cutting infra problems from end to end. Remote role with multiple US HQs and national coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, observability, and security as core practice.
• Strong systems and networking fundamentals with reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Shape our cloud infrastructure (AWS) and ensure reliability, security, and cost awareness.
• Build CI/CD and deployment paths from commit to production with confidence.
• Stand up observability to surface issues early and prevent client impact.
• Treat security as a first-class platform property, not an afterthought.
• Develop internal tooling and a developer platform to reduce friction.
• Own cross-cutting infrastructure problems end-to-end and set patterns for others.
