Job summary

saas.group in the United States is seeking a senior Platform/Cloud Engineer to own infrastructure across multiple brands in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

You will lead migrations, improve CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform, and mentor teams while collaborating with product stakeholders.

The role offers high autonomy, flexible time off, and exposure to AI tooling to accelerate cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform or Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering at senior level.
• Deep expertise in at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices; ability to design and modernize pipelines across diverse environments.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus) and practical judgment on reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects for assigned brands: migrations, performance & reliability improvements, incident response, containerization, and cloud cost optimizations.
• Establish/upgrade CI/CD, infra as code, monitoring, alerting, and SLO-aligned dashboards; baseline and improve reliability with data.
• Advise brand CTOs/engineering leads on trade-offs and architecture with measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to and consume central services (observability, backups) to avoid reinventing the wheel.
• Collaborate with developers as part of the product team; troubleshoot across app and infra boundaries.
• Incorporate AI into the paved road: use Claude Code/Codex to speed up IaC, scripting, and incident diagnosis, and coach brand teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (lightweight today; scaling toward a shared model).
