Scope3 is seeking a Senior or Staff Platform Software Engineer to elevate our engineering productivity, reliability, and scalability while shaping the evolution of our AI-native advertising marketplace. You will build internal tooling, infrastructure, and an excellent developer experience, while occasionally contributing to product features when priorities demand it.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Active, hands-on use of AI tools in engineering workflows to accelerate development.
• Experience designing scalable systems and developer infrastructure.
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or developer tooling.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design.
• Comfortable owning projects from concept through production.
• Excellent collaborator who works across platform and product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering (≈80%): Improve developer productivity via tooling, automation, and workflows; build scalable CI/CD and deployment infrastructure; maintain monorepo health; enhance local development; build internal tooling; monitor performance; partner for improvements.
• Product Engineering (≈20%): Contribute production code to AI-native marketplace; design scalable APIs and distributed systems; collaborate with product/design to ship customer-facing capabilities; participate in architecture discussions around agent communication and marketplace infrastructure; evaluate AI frameworks and patterns.
