Job summary

Bestow is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive scalability, reliability, and developer experience across our cloud infrastructure. You will own critical projects, automate infrastructure, and build internal tools to accelerate product delivery.

You will collaborate with platform engineers and cross-functional teams, shaping architecture and tooling while advancing automation and observability. This role supports remote/hybrid work within the U.S. and reports to the Manager of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi and CI/CD workflows.
• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (Go, Python, Bash, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI agents for engineering tasks with clear context and constraints.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own implementation of projects to improve platform scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
• Automate infrastructure and build internal tools for faster product development.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Grow into architectural ownership and influence team processes.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for services.
