Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician responsible for performing venipunctures and operating automated plasmapheresis equipment. You will ensure donor safety, accurate labeling, and adherence to all applicable SOPs while delivering excellent donor care.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and strong collaboration with Quality Assurance and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent.
• Completed training documented before duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and GMP SOPs.
• Maintain donor safety, confidentiality and comfort during procedures.
• Set up and maintain plasmapheresis equipment and supplies.
• Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation.
• Mentor teammates as a Designated Trainer and support QA initiatives.
