Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasmapheresis Technician to perform venipuncture and collect plasma in a high‑safety environment. You will follow SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent donor service and maintaining clean, organized workstations.

The role requires attention to safety, precise documentation, and ability to operate automated plasmapheresis equipment with alert management. Day and evening shifts, plus some travel, may be involved.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Ability to produce accurate and complete documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and schedule flexibility.
• Ability to perform venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis process and venipunctures per SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and GMP requirements.
• Maintain donor experience and donor confidentiality.
• Set up equipment and prep supplies for procedures; label units and samples.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma quality; manage waste per safety protocols.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines; document logs.
• Provide training support to improve efficiency and compliance.
