Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a team member to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture, ensuring high safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes strict adherence to state and federal regulations while delivering excellent donor experiences.

The position requires basic medical environment exposure and the ability to manage equipment and documentation accurately. Daytime to evening shifts, with variable hours, may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 months’ experience in a medical or health care setting preferred.
• Training documentation completed prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP to uphold production standards.
• Deliver excellent donor service and maintain a positive donor experience.
• Prepare and label equipment, supplies, and samples for procedures.
• Monitor donor conditions and respond to alarms and events promptly.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines as part of routine upkeep.
• Document machine logs accurately and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with ongoing training and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
